I recorded a few tunes...im new to recording so Im still trying to figuere out what levels to record with and when to pan and so on...none of my songs have vocals yet however eventually they will i hope.

None of these songs are spectacular or anything...i like to keep things basic and simple so most of my stuff is really easy to play.

All these songs are short versions...add another verse and chorus and they will all be in the 3 minute mark.

Looking for comments and crits...let me have it...dont be nice if you think the songs suck.

I try to have each song sound different from the next...its tough to do however I dont want any song to sound similar to the next.

I also have not done a bunch of lead guitar in my songs...I like lead however i have to edit myself and try not to overplay and have an endless wall of notes.

Names of songs are...

# 1 Across The Great Divide
# 2 Waited A Lifetime
# 3 Future Junkie
# 4 The River Is Long And The Mountain Is High (The River)

here is the link...

I took a listen to all the songs.. Great work for the short amount of time you been recording. I dig the melody on Future Junky kinda like a 60's sounding groove and the melody fits right in. You have a good sense of melody. Did you play the bass.. I hear a drum machine? Have you tried real audio loops?

Thanks for giving the tunes a listen brian...thanks for the Crit as well.

No I didnt play the bass...its a real bass loop...the drums are also real drum loops and not a machine.

Spidy,
I like what you've done. Being new at recording it dosent sound bad.

I have some old stuff from my first few attemps and it's awful.
