Hey i was just wondering if you could help me....i need a smooth tone on all thew strings i cant figure out how to get the litte twang off the high notes though.....i have an ibanez edb 600...a hartke 3500 bass head and a hartke 4x10. any help on the eqs?

The advice I always give is you right hand placement.

If you want a deeper tone play using your fingers closer to the neck. If you want a bright clean crisp sound play close to the bridge. Your hand acts as a EQ per say.....

Try not or de-emphasizing the high mids 2-8K on your grphic eq. also try to not dial so much high into your signal, especially if your bass is active.
