I'm trying to replace one of the pots (bridge volume) on my SG. After toiling for over an hour with my new soldering iron, and FINALLY getting all the wires properly secured where the belong, I went to test it out. When cranked all the way up, full volume. When cranked all the way DOWN, half volume. Why won't the volume go all the way down? Is there something I should have done prior to make sure it was ready?

Any help is great, thanks!

make sure you don't have a cold solder joint and the wires are in the correct places.
