I like the sound a Tele gives but I have a Strat style guitar...am I able
to replace the Strat pickups with Telecaster ones with minimal re-wiring,
or is this an impossible project?

To get the real Tele sound you will need a Tele, but I have done mods on
strats that gave me a similar sound.
