I am learning the electric after playing acoustic. I have an old Squire
that I use with a new Blues Junior NOS. The guitar does not sound half bad
for learning, but I woudl like to throw in another set of picks ups until I
can purchase real guitar. (Thinking about the Strat American Standard).
Anyhow, what would anyone recommend as far as replacement pick ups, Texas
Specials?
I mostly play blues, SRV type stuff. Thanks

Texas specials are good, but you need to read up on different pickups like
your favorite players use. I hate to recommend a pickup that you might
hate. |

There's tons of them on the market so you need to read up on them... Kinda
like telling you the best shoe that will fit your foot when you need to try
them out to know for yourself. Cheesy metaphor but you get the point. |
