hi i'm just wondering if intonation has to be changed if alternate tunings
are used.
for instance if a guitar was bought and all set up in standard e tuning ,
and someone wanted to use drop c would the intonation have to be changed .

I would have to say no however when changing the tension on the strings by
tuning strings higher or lower than standard tuning you may need to adjust
a string or 2 if the guitar sounds out of tune a bit however it should be
fine.
