I recently bought one of these Italia Freebird Guitars and liked it so much
I figured I would post my opinion.

I bought it simply because its the most unique guitar I have ever seen,
besides that this guitar came out as a tribute to 911. It's made in Korea
but designed by Trev Wilkerson. Most people know what the Wilkerson tremolo
bridge is but not his guitars.
When I first plugged it in a wall of sound appeared from straty like tones
to a fatter Les Paul sound. Yep I sound Fatter Les Paul as I played them
back to back and the pickups in this baby screams but are quiter then the
57 Classic plus pickups. Another thing is the tone knob it when turned down
it doesn't mud up on you. All the hardware is good. Gotoh/Italia
tuners/Wilkerson bridge,Wilkerson Humbuckers. I would like to find the
pickups but I believe their only available in Italia Guitars. I been
through at least 50 guitars in my years of playing and never expected I
would like it as much as I do. Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch but
man this guitar is killer!
