Love the site you got going here. Ya this is kind of a long post but figured i would give a nice deep explenation of were i came from. The Grammer and puntuaition is not great so I apologize to those whom have that fetish. I dont want to spend hours proofreading unless im writing to my boss or a senetor ;p

I have been playen guitar for roughly 15 years now. Blows my mind to think , "**** this has been with me almost 1/2 my life". I was brought up mostly on mettle and rock. My verey 1st album , Yes the vinal thing, was Twisted Sisters : Stay Hungry:. I still sentimetaly have that stored away. My 1st major bands intrests off the top of my head were...... The Cars , Metallica , Mega Death, Judas Preist, Ratt, Vahn Halen "pre Hagar" Slayer , and Sepultura. Then one day while riding in the car with my mom she asked me a question i will never forget. "Do you want to hear the influance of of the music your listening to?" I was thinken sarcasticly , "ohh great here comes some James taylor or some other story song writer.." So of course i said yes and out comes this tape with the name , Black Sabbith :We Sold are Soul for Rock and Roll: on it. I was like, "hell ya they sold there souls for rock and roll!! Throw it in!! throw it in!!" Scepticully I listend and on that day my soul was sold to rock and roll.

My horizons broadend to Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Primus. Shortly after awhile at a friends house, my friends older brothers friend came in with a guitar in his hands and Jammed out a song from Phill Keaggy. I was Floored by the instramentle and decieded to get my self a guitar. In 1993 I got a Arbor Rhoads style eletric for $200 from a music student that lived in a studio apartment above a movie theature. It was cool visiting him becouse he had all kinds of cool equipment and was even building his own guitars. He new his stuff and was like jesus to me and my best friend. To this day i wish i could remeber his name to give him a hello. My best friend was being taught by a teacher and then my friend taught me what he learned afterward. The 1st song i learned on guitar was Black Sabbiths Paranoid.

After my parents were convinced that my guitar intrest wasnt just a fad or the guitar was gonna collect dust in the attic, they brought me to guitar center in 1994 to get a more professional guitar at a reasonable price becouse my parents were not rich. I ended up getting a Jrr-94 modified rhoads concept along with a Crate GX-60. I still have this guitar to this day and it has never failed me in any way yet except for a ground i had to resodder last year. The Crate on the other hand has become possesed and likes to change channels on its own and fade in and out but the Celestian 12" speaker its still strong. From there I stumbled apon my fathers Frank Zappa collection. Joes Garage made me piss my pants with laughter and was just brilliant. Franks other works grew on me and from there my musical teen bias faded away and i gained a respect for pretty much all music in general. Keep in mind i use, "all music", loosely. Country music.......the old stuff i can stand the singen but the new age stuff, I would be happy if i could mute the singers. Rap , same deal, they got good beats and loops but again alot of the singen is not my thing. Techno , great as long as the song keeps on its way and doesnt repeat over and over and over and over and over and over and over for 4 minutes of the 6 minute song.

I have to admit out of the 15 years of playen guitar I have to say 5 of them were pretty much plink pluk put guitar away for a couple months repeat. Over the last to years I have picked it back up with a vengance and am maken up for the lost time. I have leaned away from the power cords and runs to a more classical and world style. My goal is to start assembleing a collection of instraments nd learning to play them. So far I just Have my Jackson and a Oscer Shmitt Ukellele. I am going to be getting a Acoustic 6 string here soon then after that a synthasizer. In the future a mandolen , violen and any stringed instrament i can get my hands on. I have started my own little music page on myspace to just put some of my music on just for hobby perpose i guess. I dont expect anything big to come of it but i find it to be a healthy hobby.
Well if ya read threw this here a gold star =p * hehe again love the site and glad to be here, merry X-mas.
