ive played two amps (Crate n Mesa) that have a channel labeled "Solo". this channel kicks ass but i dont feel like buying a new amp jus to have it. Ne pedals or effects i could buy to simulate it..?? i have a Boss ME 50 effects pedal and nuthin on there compares to that solo channel. thanks

These amps where most likely tube amps?? Is your amp a tube amp?? What kind of music are you playing or want to play.

My amps arent tube amps. I have a Marshall MG100HDFX half stack and a Fender 90DSP. I want to play some hard rock, like Soundgarden or old Creed. But lately Ive really been liking stuff like Finch and Thrice. What kind of effects or amp modelers should I be using? Thanks man

I have a crate amp (glx15) and the solo channel seems jsut like overdrive to me. If you want this effect, I suggest you just invest on a good overdrive pedal.
