hey I'm new to the forum and figured I would make my question that would hopefully bring a lot of feedback.. Ok i'm looking for a nice halfstack doesn't have to be a combo can be whatever combination that you guys think... of course i'm gonna try them out for myself before i make my final decision but i just wanna kno where i should start...

I have about $1000 to blow on this thing and i wanna make sure i get the best buy for my buck.. To Help on the pricing decision lets just say if I buy The amp new i can get bout 300 dollars off..

Well ok i was in a band and used to play shows with about 400 people max in there and I like to jam a lot with my friend and we'll probably be in another band soon. So i need a good amp that will work good for live shows and for just jamming.

Well let me know what you guys think.. The style of music i'm looking for is ehh kinda a wider range.. I like the Whole Guns n Roses sound but i also wanna be able to play like Chiodos and Senses fail and decent clean tone would be nice also..

Looking for a tube amp because all my life i've been told how awesome they are and i've played a few myself and i just love the sound and since they use tubes you can change your sound easier by tube swaping.. well i'm gonna end this and wait for some feedback

I think it might be a little difficult to find a good tube halfstack for under 1000 bucks that is in the condition that you are looking for. Granted, they are out there, just takes a little searching, more than likely you will have to find it from a private seller. I could be wrong but it is just my experience with looking for good quality stuff!!!

My kids' teacher just told me about this new book (The Talent Code) -- it's got a lot of great tips on coaching, motivation, practice. Check it out.
