Yeah I have played a les poul on it ones but let me tell you something if you are willing to pay £379 for it :no: ,
The cool thing about it is that it has an ECC83 pre-amp tube for true tube overdrive.
Like the vintage driver pushings they go nice on it.
The sound i will put some demos on so you can hear it you're self.

As stated, "how does it sound" [to you], is most important.
Power Tubes[Valves] are really most of the magic of tube amps.
Concider how many artists use solid state pedals to drive their tube amps.
