5/17/2004 at 13:52Since this is the request forum, i suggest how about you help ppl like me
interested in playing in the heavier side like metal, hard rock, modern
rock and such... you often find random riffs here and there but seldom a
thorough tutorial to get us started... thnx...
5/17/2004 at 14:42Hey there!
It is true that we tend to favour jazz/blues/exotic music in our lessons,
but I recently post a lesson on some neo-classical rock ideas, and I think
Brian, our webmaster is working on some Eddie Van Halen lessons, so we
have started to look at rock more.
What kind of bands do you listen to? Maybe we can feature something
suitable for metal fans.
5/17/2004 at 16:53I aggree we need to look more at the rock heavier side...
I used to be metal head, still have the long hair as proof
I love it all except the :gunman: gangster rap
5/18/2004 at 09:56i did have a look at the Yngwie article and it is quite interesting... i
listen to alot of different bands... some heavy metal(metallica etc),
progressive(djamkaret), classic sound(maiden), children of bodom,
modern(System of a down), it differs but mostly heavy...
glad to hear more rock stuff coming along... thnx again...
5/19/2004 at 05:05I was reffering to the twins....Minstrel and Metalman.....

11/6/2004 at 05:22How heavy do you want to go? Metal is an extremely varied catagory of
music. Some people consider G n' R metal, but to me it is just rock. You
can hardly compare bands like Dream Theater to bands like Emperor under the
same genre.
11/6/2004 at 20:19My metal days are over...Its been done...Lets move on...Peace
