any of you ever put a voltage pot instead of cap on your pedals? i want to do this to my digitech grunge because i only like the sound when the battery is low... i've seen a site giving instructions on how to put a "dying battery simulator" into an external box, but not onboard an effects pedal. oh and to avoid any confusion, the digitech grunge is all analog, so this mod would have a positive effect (dying digital pedals just suck)

Yeah I been wanting to build one of these but haven't had time. I think RG keen created this but I'm not sure.

yea thats the site i saw the mod on... im pretty sure he did it externally. i saw his 4 fuzz pedal he made and it looks so fricken awesome.

He worked for IBM designing power supplies for years while posting free pedal building articles. If I get stumped that's where I go!
