HI

I have Rocktron Piranha tube pre-amp and TC electronics G-sharp FX processor. The g-sharp is connected to the loop of Piranha. I also have ART x-15 ultrafoot midi controller and it is connected to the Midi in of Piranha. The TC is a slave of piranha.

Problem: When I try to change programs with a Midi controller, the input of the Tc goes clipping. Even without the midi controller, when I store or load a program with Piranha , the input of TC starts clipping. The problem does not occure when the Midi cable is unplugged between Rocktron and TC.
If connected the other way - The Midi controller goes to the Midi in of TC. And Rocktron is a slave of TC, then I can change programs only by loading a preset from the TC by hand. If I use the foot controller, then TC changes a program and rocktron doesn't

So either way I can't use my rig properly. Can anyone give some advise?

Is your midi cable any good? This would be a great start!

Sounds to me you might have a bad midi cable

Thanks for the advise

The midi cable was OK. I changed the Midi channels of both units and now it works fine.

But still I have a problem with delay spillover feature. Now working on this...

yeah if the channels are not the same they won't talk to each other. I haven't used a midi setup in years. You can do alot with it but I like the vintage way of things these day.
