OK well, this is my 1st topic and I'm a newbie,,,, but I was wondering, how did you, the reader, get involved with guitar or.... how you learned to play? Like did you teach yourself? Or did you have a teacher? And if you DID have a teacher or still have a teacher, what are they like and what are you being taught? I'll light this candle. I got involved in guitar from camping! Yes, I bring my guitar to my family's yearly camp-out! i am being taught by this very nice guy (second teacher).... My first teacher taught me nothing but chords and just songs... Nothing like learning how to read notes!
