does anyone know if EMG 81 and 85 pickups will fit, or do i need to make mods? Or just buy a new guitar that WILL fit? Probably a stupid question but i'm a beginner, and i need a new sound.

It will be easier to fit EMG humbuckers into a guitar that already has humbuckers fitted.
Otherwise, you'll have to do a lot of modification

ok, what mods would i have to do? i asked someone else and they said that i would only have to make the pick-up holes bigger, then it would be fine. And I already bought the EMGs so I can't exactly buy a new guitar.

Yeah, you'd have to cut bigger holes in the scratchplate, and you may even have to cut bigger holes in the body

nope, just the scratchplate, underneath it is just one ginourmous hole. Which is kind of weird. Would it be stupid to cut the pick-up holes bigger? I don't want to mess up my guitar. Basically, if you were in a money situation like me, would you do it?

I'd do it.
You could always buy a pre cut scratchplate
