now this is a serious problem that every guitarist be him a beginner or a professional should know about ididnt know where to post this coz there aint a section for medical related problems..
i am having this problem now there's a medical condition called RSI (repetitive strain injury) related to practicing long time on the guitar no breaks or stretching exercises might result in this condition which may damage ur fretting hand once and for all and ull no longer be able to play gluitar again!!!
i have been practising for weeks non stop on a daily basis of 10 hours.. my fingers r hurting me like hell i can no longer fold them am so worried that i might have developed such a condition and i would appreciated any1 telling me how to solve such problem..

This is almost always caused by bad hand technique. Now note that I'm not a doctor. Try to reposition your left arm when playing and never play with your thumb dead center on the back of the neck. Your thumb should be at a slight angle and move comfortably while your playing. I just did a test and played with my thumb straight on the back of the neck and I feel some pain in my wrist and forearm already.

I been playing for over 20 years for hours and hours a day, live shows, studio work etc.. and never had a problem.

i never had this problem untill i started pickin up speed specially when playing so many scales i would go thru 1500-2000 scales non stop on a daily basis each one played in both orders giving every scale less than 10 seconds to play for 3 days i been doing this now my hand is still in rehab i stopped playing for 2 days now to rest my fingers but still got pain in them
i rest my whole thumb behind the neck of the guitar to give my fingers the advantage of reachin longer distances across the fretboard..

hum dont you think your overdoing it ? 10hrs of practice ?
1500-2000 scales ?

Edit:
your thumb should be strait up & not curved around the neck

thats all you need to know

i dont know if you can actualy angle the thumb a bit i suppose it dosent matter much as long as the position is relatively the same
