EmperorX - 10/13/2005 at 05:31 Are you more of an Ibanez dude or a Jackson guy? Why?
brian - 10/13/2005 at 13:35I would say neither..... In the same class I have a original 1988 Hamer
California with 27 frets, one humbucker and one single.
It list for $1600 back then and they stopped making them. It's a shame
because this guitar simply kills in tone and playablility.
Telefreak - 10/17/2005 at 16:09Neither really, those names just conjour up images of pointy super
strats.
Gimme a Fender any day
brian - 10/17/2005 at 21:01Really it doesn't matter it's all about the playing!
Telefreak - 10/18/2005 at 23:51It's a bit shallow o get all hung up on looks, I'll admit.
But I wouldn't want to play something that I thought was ugly
Spidercents - 10/20/2005 at 05:37Im more of a gibson guy however I would play an Ibanez or a jackson if it
played and sounded nice and stayed in tune...Im not fussy...gimme a guitar
and plug it in man.

godofsolo - 11/21/2005 at 22:39I've got both and my Ibanez is much more playable than my Jackson/Charvel.
They both play great but my Charvel( made by same people as jackson) is
always giong out of tune even though it's like a $1000 guitar.
IBANEZ! :rockout: :4pieceband:
docc - 11/26/2005 at 22:44Ibanez Jem 777 and Artist 2000 f.e. are completely different instruments.So
are Jackson alder body models and mohogany Scott Jan model.Ibanez or
Jackson,Ibanez or Ibanez,Jackson or Jackson-it depends on the tone you are
looking for.
The mainstream Ibanez models got a little wider and thinner neck and great
playability.Jacksons have the advantage of the compound-radius neck.
So I would prefer to have both.
ZeldaMentalEvil - 12/14/2005 at 07:48I think both play fine. Ibanez is my personal perference (although i play a
Washburn)...nothing to do with tone or company or anything.just pewrsonal
perference.
maxboost - 12/14/2005 at 16:55I say get a few of each. I have a ibanez, a charvel, a washburn, gibson and
(I just realized i owned all these brands in the past but they were stolen,
and one was sold. ) So I've had 2 of each of them and my favourite is
always whichever one I'm playing at the moment! Variety is great
ahungrymidget - 3/4/2006 at 03:23Jackson for life, talk about the flat neck, light solidbody, the perfect
sound and don't forget how great it looks over all.
Violentpanda - 3/5/2006 at 10:20I like my Ibanez S1520BP with EMG 81's....i have played many jacksons and i
just love the feel and sound of my ibanez.
Monster - 4/16/2006 at 15:38i would choose the jackson, only company i know of that even there low end
guitars are just as good as there high end....
Hollow_imagination - 5/7/2006 at 18:37it depends on many things ....
sexy-plexi - 6/30/2007 at 04:43check the facts
.paul gilbert the fastest string skipper in the world.(ibanez)
.steve vai the the most creative man the electric guitar.(ibanez)
.herman li fast tapper in the world (my oponion).(ibanez)
if all these guys use a ibanez thats got to tell you some thing.
tony549 - 7/2/2007 at 23:21if it feels good get it,in fact buy one of everything but Im a Gibson kinda
guy.....
ccstunescom - 1/22/2008 at 02:40I like the Ibanez Hollow Bodies Myself.
hollowaxis - 1/22/2008 at 20:04Neither. The only Ibanez I've ever been attracted to was the Jetking 1.
Give me a modded Jazzmaster, Strat or Thinline and I would be set. Maybe a
gibson explorer..... Jacksons make me think of metal wankery:s
