8/10/2005 at 04:35Here's one for you. Has anybody heard of Dream Theatre or John Patrutti? If
you have please comment. What do you guys think?
8/11/2005 at 03:08You mean john petrucci he's a great guitarist. He knows alot but he doesn't
really have his own unique style. For example if you hear just one note
from Hendrix you know it's him or Eddie Van Halen,Jeff beck,Clapton
etc....
Overall he smokes most of them with clean speed and technique.
Not for everyone though.
Dream Theater sounds alot like the band Rush or Genesis but alot more
heavy.

their
music rocks. I moved on to them since Extreme disbanded.
EROTOMANIA (Their other songs are good too, but this is the
first song of theirs i play..........on the CD player of course hehehehe )
9/1/2005 at 23:13 I like DT a lot, John Petrucci is one of my favourite guitar player. I
figured out how to play many of their songs, with a lot of trouble of
course (months of practicing
). Some of my
favourites: Erotomania, The Dance of Eternity, A Change Of Seasons, The
Glass Prison, As I Am.

I like Dream Theater, but I like Liquid Tension Experiment better.
However, I haven't been able to find a CD anywhere, even the used music
stores.
If you don't know if you like dream theater or LTE, you can check out some
MIDI's (low quality sound files) at dreamtheater.net in the media section.
5/7/2006 at 18:28Come on dudes, John Petrucci is great Dream Teather is great, i mean, i've
seen his guitar lessons on tape great technics and speed. And inside the
string picing
.
If you haven't seen John Petrucci buy G3 live from Tokio now there is the
power of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Petrucci.
