5/12/2005 at 03:48Has anyone heard of a band called the Mars Volta? I heard of them a few
months back, first through a friend and then I read an article about them
in Guitar One. I heard the song The Widow, and I think it's really good.
?
5/12/2005 at 10:37aw yes, fabulous band. Saw them live (supporting RHCP on tour) and their
performance was absolutely mesmerizing.
Deloused In The Comatorium and Frances The Mute don't disappoint
either...[go out and buy 'em!!!]

6/5/2005 at 00:20amazing musicians too.
It sounds like chaos, but then you hear something that makes you think and
re-evaluate the way you play.
Well, I do anyway
6/16/2005 at 23:29i heard that all the songs off there new cd are based on a diary that one
of the band members found in a used car he bought. must have been an
intersting diary to inspire an entire cd

8/1/2005 at 16:23deloused is a good bit better that the new record in my opinion.great band
though.if you like at the drive in it dosent mean you will like them.the
singers voice has changed a lot and they are less punky now.the drummer is
amazing.
12/26/2007 at 06:45The Mars Volta are amazing musicians, and I love Frances the Mute, but has
anyone else noticed that they went a little over-board with the sound
effects and strange noises? I mean it great and all and a little bit of
noises is great but, come on you know.
11/30/2009 at 09:42They are a pretty good band, I have a couple dozen of their songs in my
song files. I also like Infected Mushroom, Spiritualized, The animal
collective, the Dream Syndicate, Moby Grape, Blue cheer, and Hawkwind. All
bands well worth checking out if your into the Mars Volta.
