Bush

OR

Kerry

Guitar101 - 3/28/2004 at 22:09

WE been in the bushes to long

Kerry without a doubt

yankmecrankme - 3/29/2004 at 01:12

I'd have to disagree and say Bush. I think he's doing a good job, but then I don't really follow politics that much.

Kerry HERE.........

phishind - 3/29/2004 at 23:26

BOth Kerry and Bush belong to the Skull and Bones Ivy League fraternity. I don't care either of them. Unfortunatley, they will be the only choices. When the limited selection of two, both being undesirable, what is a voter to do?

Guitar101 - 3/29/2004 at 23:52

I would like to see a President with a little more intelligence.
Kerry seems to have more than Bush.

Anonymous - 3/31/2004 at 14:48

I think we need a fresh new start. Kerry for President!

SFGlady - 5/18/2004 at 23:50

Finally, people who don't want Bush for president! I'm not too fond of either of them. Who's the lesser of two evils? I don't follow politics too much

schwim - 5/19/2004 at 20:39

I don't believe there is a lesser evil anymore. Thanks to the national census and demographics, you're being told what the majority of our society wants to hear.

The days of beliefs of a leader went away about the same time that it became profitable to be a politician. In the founding days, people were elected to be in office, but they didn't want to be there. As soon as children were groomed to be "a president", we lost the ability to choose, because now we're getting the same thing, regardless of who we vote for.

As soon as people as a society are willing to think for themselves again, and not just use what we call "news" as their only source of information, we will pull ourselves out of what we've gotten ourselves into. Until then, I'll pull up a chair and watch the festivities. I can't wait to see who you vote into office this time.

thanks,

brian - 5/19/2004 at 20:48

Yep that's about it.

At least Clinton was a musician.

Most musicians have groupies right :blah:

Telefreak - 5/19/2004 at 21:25

I wasn't going to comment on this, seeing as i'm english, But!!
How the hell did that cowboy get into office anyway, from over here it all looked like one gigantic fix where the voted kept being re-counted until the result suited the Bush family.

I don't like the way that Bush thinks he can push everybody around and expect us to like it, even worse is his lap dog Tony Blair, he won't be our Prime minister for long, thats for sure, not unless he suddenly grows a backbone and wipes that yellow streak off his belly.

For years I wasn't bothered about who was in power over here because they're all the same just woth different coloured badges, but Blair has pushed everyone too far. Hell, I'm even writing political songs now, who's up for a real punk revival?

brian - 5/19/2004 at 23:08

Yeah he's not one of my favorites.

Kinda makes us look like a joke to the rest of the world

Just call him TEX

Hehe, or "The invasion kid"

kickinits7 - 8/11/2004 at 07:24

Its gotta be bush, Everybody thinks he did a horrible job, but do you think that Kerry would do any better? Bush did what he had to do and he wasnt afraid to do it, I respect him for it. Bush for 2004

bignose62 - 8/11/2004 at 13:14

VOTE 1 MICHEAL MOORE........... Sod the rest of them, they're all puppets working 4 the unseen control freaks who's intent is total control.................. KEEP YOUR CHOICE FREE AND DON'T BECOME ANOTHER PART OF THE 'HERD' , ROCK BIG TIME' and oh yeah DON'T 4GET 2 ROLL

Spidercents - 8/11/2004 at 21:42

First you have to blame the terrorist then You have to blame the intelligence agencies for 911.The president is just a spokesperson. He has a whole team of advisers that have let him down. They shouid of waited till the whole world was behind them with the united nations instead of goining into iraq unilaterally. We will have to wait and see in a decade or two if it was the wrong thing to do or not.I think we should do every thing in our power to stop these terriorist infested countries from going nuclear.Because it will be too late if they do.However there are other countries that the world should worry about more than Iraq for going nuclear.I'm from canada and I wish we helped more with the actual fighting.Even though canada's military is kind of a joke they do have a lot of people that could of helped.Every body helps right? Our leader did the right thing in retrospect however our neighbor was in need. You have to cut bush some slack because he screws up in his speeches once in a while.Hes nervous. The whole world is watching.Could you do better.I could not.Thats a tough job even for the most witty of presidents.Bush seems like a nice guy.Hes not a jerk or anything.I dont care who becomes president.Bush or kerry they are all being advised on what to say.The real leaders of america are behind the scenes.I will end this post on this note. The world is lucky they have such a peacefull giant like america. If the middle east had the power america has we would all be in deep sh#t

Guitar101 - 8/11/2004 at 21:51

At least John Kerry Plays guitar and can speak a complete sentence. If your going to have a spokesman at least get one that doesn't say ummmm a million times.

Spidercents - 8/11/2004 at 22:03

True enough. However Kerry is a little stiff in(under) the collar though. The late night shows make it somewhat amusing when bush is around. No lack of material.

Telefreak - 8/11/2004 at 22:55

Here's the deal.
Kerry went to Vietnam, a war that shouldn't have been fought, much like the second gulf war.
George W didn't go to vietnam because he got his dad (a US senator at the time) to fix it so he didn't have to.
Who would you trust? A man who won the purple heart 3 times or a draft dodger?

It's not difficult to see who the real man is, a real man would fight for his country, not hide behing his daddys high powered friends and connections.

I know it's not my concern being British and all, but it doesn't take a genius to see that Bush is a spineless moron with all the smarts of a household plant

Spidercents - 8/12/2004 at 00:10

Yep I agree. Its not what you know its who you know.I forgot about that draft doging thing. So I will pick kerry over bush for the reason telefreak said.even if I dont agree that the war was just.He deserted his country when they needed him most.

schwim - 8/12/2004 at 00:51

Guys, I'm not arguing that one is better than the other, simply because I believe our electoral process is a farce, and you deserve what you get if you involve yourself with it, BUT.. instead of using only what is on propaganda television to base your opinions on, check up on who you're supporting.

Bush was a draft dodger.

Kerry was a deserter. Find out why his tour was abbreviated. Those 3 purple hearts that he "earned"? As commanding officer, he submits his men for medals. In their place, he submitted his own name for all the medals that the unit had earned.

Serving his country? After his short tour, he toured the US with Jane Fonda and had press photos taken of him throwing his medals over the fence at the white house while denouncing the war(at recent presidential press conferences, he has been photo'd wearing these medals). His recent biography(approved by Kerry) has proven lies concerning acts that his swift boat unit participated in. Some of his accountings that he "witnessed" were an impossibility; he was back in the states throwing his medals over a fence when he said they took place.

Don't base your decisions on liberal television. Better yet, don't waste your time thinking about it at all. You will save a lot of time for more important things; like saving lemmings from cliffs.

thanks,

tattoo - 8/12/2004 at 01:01

I dislike Bush. he cheated his way to get the job. Come on his brother was Gov of Florida

He's cocky and dumb at the same time.

Anybody but him

Spidercents - 8/12/2004 at 01:08

I dont personally have anything against bush however my brother calls him bows because he always walks around with his arms stuck out like his muscles are huge or something.I'm suprised the comedy shows havent caught on to that one.

Telefreak - 8/12/2004 at 01:39

Either way, regardless of what Kerry may or may not have done>
Bush is a moron, do you really want someone who doesn't kmow that half the countries of the world exist, let alone how to pronounce thier names to run your country?
He's just a high powered redneck, a freaking bumpkin, I'm amazed he hasn't worn his 10 gallon hat and spurs to congress, he's such a slapshot cowboy.
He has all the intelect of a houseplant.
You Americans are smarter than that, you deserve better

Spidercents - 8/12/2004 at 01:54

america has alot of rednecks and cowboys.I personaly dont see it as a negative.Just different. It dosent make you a bad person if your a redneck.(Please dont send any hate mail)Our leaders in canada are probably not perceived as bright.Thats if any one even notices us.Nobody pays attention to canada. With only 30 million people I cant blame them.

chrisC - 8/13/2004 at 19:01

how many of us buy gas?? how many of us complain about high gas prices?? how many of us want to pay an extra $0.50 a gallon for gas?? vote for kerry and thats whats going to happen. thats my main reason for voting for bush. and if your worried about the war would you have sat down and let terrorists control your country. did you want bush to say "hey you terrorist meany heads. stop killing thousands of innocent people. please" america had to do something. anyways kerry sucks at snowboarding, pitching, and all those other things he tried to do to get americas 18-30 crowd to vote for him. vote for kerry and watch your freedom go down the drain.

chrisC - 8/13/2004 at 19:20

kerry and the democratic party defy all the ideals america was founded on. democrats want to "help" us by taking away our rights and freedoms. how many more laws do we need? any law passed is a bad one. i hope all you democrats know that taxes go up when a democrat is president. democrats have no right to complain about taxes, any right restrictions, or unconstitutional laws. dont vote for kerry because everyone else is. dont vote for kerry becasue he plays guitar. dont vote for kerry because he pitched at a baseball game or because he snowboarded down a mountain vote for kerry because you hate low taxes, vote for kerry becasue your sick of having rights, vote for kerry because you dont believe that people should be allowed to make there own decisions........im quite annoied by all the people who are going to vote for kerry because buch is a "cowboy" i guess having a president from texas is to unheard. bush might not be one of the greatest speakers of all time but hes certainly the number one presidential cantidate for 2004.

Spidercents - 8/14/2004 at 00:59

ChrisC makes a good point about taxes.American taxes are high enough. However I never heard kerry say he would raise taxes. If im wrong please be kind.

Guitar101 - 8/14/2004 at 01:33

Raise taxs / price of war. It's all the same. War costs us a hell of alot more than a simple tax hike. Besides it will get us back where we need to be. We got to pay for fuel so the tanks, trucks can get all those supplies to rebuild Iraq. What the hell is that.

Smarten up folks.......
The last time you bought something haven't you thought to yourself how prices have gone up?

It's tax just in a hidden form

Get Tex out of office. Him and his daddy loves war.

Bush is a oil man a dick owns a oil parts company.
ummmmmmmmmm. Iraq has one the largest supplies of oil in the world.

Do the math people.

Spidercents - 8/19/2004 at 04:17

Canadian gas prices have shot up too.

Ozboy - 8/19/2004 at 23:56

I think as a bystander over here in Australia the real winner will be your system. We have mandatory voting here and it is good to see that the push to get Bush pushed out has bought interest back in voting. I hope all of you do it. It is funny how many yanks we meet that complain about their politcians that dont vote. Your system has proved that a handfull of votes can make the difference. If more people would of voted you wouldnt have a under educated clown for a president

Spidercents - 8/20/2004 at 00:02

Arent all politicians clowns really.Ha Ha.Good point about voting.

chrisC - 8/20/2004 at 00:45

i get pissed when people dont vote, and more pissed when they complain about politicians. if you dont wanna vote you should move to iraq.

Spidercents - 8/20/2004 at 00:51

I think they are going to be able to vote in iraq now.Thats one positive thing that has come from this administration. If Im wrong please be kind.

Ozboy - 8/20/2004 at 01:21

It is funny we are in oz are told from childhood that people fought and die to protect our the vote. In your country women and black people fought hard and long to able to vote also. You would think people would want to.

chrisC - 8/20/2004 at 01:51

ive never come across anyone with a good reason not to vote. you cant really even use laziness as an excuse. maybe some peopel like feeling worthless.

Spidercents - 8/20/2004 at 02:00

so true

pgmatg - 8/26/2004 at 23:46

Any informed person with a brain and a heart should vote for Kerry, or at least against Bush.
John Kerry has a Plan to Give Tax Breaks to Corporations who Keep their Companies in the U.S. Kerry is a thinking man, that knows that most political issues are complicated (nuanced). Also he realizes that rich can live without tax cuts, but the rest of us might actually need it. And health care should be a right not a luxury.
And here is an article that says that he will most likely win:
http://www.abc.net.au/correspondents/content/2004/s1176250. htm
And here is quiz that might show that even though you might wanna vote for Bush,
on the issues you might be actually for Kerry:
http://www.presidentmatch.com/Main.jsp2?cp=main
____________
Support the Change

Spidercents - 8/27/2004 at 00:02

I agree with what your saying and everything however kerry is not the first politician to have these views on these particular issues...Its not what you say or promise to do its what you actually do...Its all been said before.I dont see anything new here.Kerry is the lesser of the two evils...or unevils depending on your point of view.

Guitar101 - 10/25/2004 at 16:51

Only 8 more days who do you think will win

Looks like Bush right now but anything could happen in 8 days

Spidercents - 10/25/2004 at 19:34

Its to close to call...Sounds familar...Hey is that chad hanging around florida anymore. :giggly: :whatman: :praying:

Guitar101 - 10/25/2004 at 19:47

I think Kerry will pull through myself.

We need something different, I get tired of hearing the same old song.... War war war, Terror terror terror

brian - 10/25/2004 at 20:02

It's turning into a big headache.

I just hope the next 4 years with Kerry or Bush is better than the past 4 years.

Spidercents - 10/25/2004 at 20:27

I have to agree...Ive grown tired of the war, war, war thing about two years ago...However If it makes the world a safer place then it has to be done...The rest of the world should do more...They will reap the benefits of a safer planet too...I dont think the war is a waste...The U.S have captured many terrorist leaders including sadam...The world is better off in that sense...Thanks America.
