What other instruments do you play other than guitar?

What other instruments do you want to learn how to play?

these are the instruments I play in order of knowledge and skill level

# 1 guitar
# 2 bass guitar
# 3 keyboard (have not played in a while though)
# 4 drums (to loud to play them where I live)
# 5 Harmonica (I suck)...good harmonica players impress me.
# 6 Recorder (a flute type instrument) I tried my nieces recorder out one day and I could play it...go figure.
# 7 clarinet (again tried my niece's school band clarinet and can play it...Im a begginer to intermediate)


Instruments I would like to learn

# 1 mandolin
# 2 violin

I guess my list isn't very long. I want to learn keyboard. I also hope someday I'll be able to play some of the weirder instruments. For some reason, sitar sounds interesting.

yep...I gotta get me one of those there mandolins.

I always wondered what the tuning or the string names of each string on a mandolin was...or the gauge # of each string.

Mandolins are tuned low to high GG DD AA EE. Sometimes I forget that they're tuned in fifths, and I start to confuse myself.

thinking of trying Mandolin or banjo too...

I owned a banjo fo 2 years before I sold it...I liked it however I didnt play it much and never really got into it because of all the finger rolls and what not...Maybe I will try it again some day.

An instrument i would like to learn would probably be the recorder, again. I had lessons when i was 9yrs old, but my teacher was extremely mean, so i just lost interest
