Thread: Vintage Epiphone Electar QUESTION

I have a vintage, 1936, Epiphone Electar, lapsteel, serial #402, which is quite early since they start with 000 - 9999. I've got the case too. Anyone know what the value would be? Not too many people know of these, so it's hard to appraise.

Next question: I want to learn to "fiddle," not play classical violin. Recommendations on where to start? I pick up quickly by ear with other instruments, but need some basic starting guidance.
