There is a contest happening here in canada for a new Hockey Night In Canada Anthem...winning prize is $100,000 plus 50% royalties everytime its played...I never wrote an anthem before however i figuered I would give it a try...Wont find out for a few months who the winner will be.

Song will get re recorded and altered (if needed) by real classical muscians and Hockey night is just looking for a hook.

Here is the anthem I wrote

Alternate mp3 in case first link doesnt play

Here is Hockey Night In Canada's old Anthem however they had a contract dispute with old songwriter so they are looking for a new anthem.

I posted this anthem about 5 times with a different variation each time and I guess one person who commented was getting a bit tired of how many times I submitted and compared it to "Rocky" movies and that there were so many off them...enough already...lol...however there is no way to delete old submissions so I guess he will have to live with it.

Sounds good reminds me of Steely Dan and a little like Chicago. It would feel better with a real drummer, but the arrangement is good which is the most important thing! keep it up Bro..
