Appologies for the rubbish pictures
Made a new bridge for my acoustic ;D.
I recently found out that wooden bridge saddles are much better than the usual plastic ones, and after finding out that my friend paid £35 to have one made, I decided to be a cheapskate and make one myself. ;D
First, I needed to find a suitable hardwood to make it from.
A Rosewood Cello tailpiece from work should do the trick.
Somewhere there is a Cellist rolling in thier grave ;D

Set up my belt sander to get a nice flat edge on it

Behold, a flat edge

Cut a suitable slice

Sand to the right shape

Cut angles for intonation

And shove it in the guitar

8-)
