Hey i have a problem with my tremolo. I own an Ibanez S470DXQM and every time i move the tremolo arm the strings go out of tune. I can't figure out why. Can anyone help me????

Cheers

Did you just put the strings on? If so you need to stretch them good before trying to tune. Tremolos can be a pain, the springs may be worn etc...

Start with stretching your string first then we can go from there.

This is really kind of an obvious question however did you lock the nut?

You may need to adjust spring tension at the back of the guitar.

Do the strings go out of tune if you dont use tremlo?...if you bend strings does it still go out of tune...just wondering.

I also agree with what brian said about new strings...I also string the thinner strings through the hole twice on the tunning peg to ensure less slipage of the string.

does your bridge lie parallel to the body of the guitar when idle and in tune?

after using the trem does it return to the same place?
