Volkswagen is introducing a limited edition Beetle that is sure to please car enthusiasts and music fans across the world. Volkswagen has recently taken their Fender-inspired Beetle from concept car to production vehicle which was revealed at an automotive trade show in Germany on June 1, 2012. The Volkswagen Beetle is based on the legendary Fender guitar and will be a limited-edition model that will be available in the United States sometime in the fall of 2012.
"We are excited to share this news with our California Volkswagen fans,” says Commonwealth Volkswagen General Manager, Mike Westbrook. "This is sure to be a one-of-a-kind Beetle." The Fender-inspired Volkswagen Beetle made its initial debut showing as a concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The finished production model was just unveiled at the 2012 Auto Mobil International automotive trade fair. Featuring a high-gloss black finish, red-framed windows, leather roof, and chrome exterior finishes, the care exudes rock-star charisma. It has an instrument bar as well as a pad on the dash made of the two-tone wood design pattern used on Fender guitars. The VW Beetle is also equipped with the award-winning Fender Premium Audio System and chrome Fender logos on the interior side panels.
