[23] And when David inquired of Jehovah, he said, Thou shalt not go up: make a circuit behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees. [24] And it shall be, when thou hearest the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry-trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself; for then is Jehovah gone out before thee to smite the host of the Philistines. [25] And David did so, as Jehovah commanded him, and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gezer.
1st Samuel Chapter 27 Verse 8	And David and his men went up, and made a raid upon the Geshurites, and the Girzites, and the Amalekites; for those [nations] were the inhabitants of the land, who were of old, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
1st Samuel Chapter 30 Verse 17-20	[17] And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, who rode upon camels and fled. [18] And David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken; and David rescued his two wives. [19] And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor anything that they had taken to them: David brought back all. [20] And David took all the flocks and the herds, [which] they drove before those [other] cattle, and said, This is David`s spoil.
