|2nd Samuel Chapter 5 Verse 17-25||  And when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the stronghold.
 Now the Philistines had come and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
 And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto David, Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into thy hand.
 And David came to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and he said, Jehovah hath broken mine enemies before me, like the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.
 And they left their images there; and David and his men took them away.
 And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
 And when David inquired of Jehovah, he said, Thou shalt not go up: make a circuit behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees.
 And it shall be, when thou hearest the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry-trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself; for then is Jehovah gone out before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.
 And David did so, as Jehovah commanded him, and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gezer.
|1st Samuel Chapter 27 Verse 8||And David and his men went up, and made a raid upon the Geshurites, and the Girzites, and the Amalekites; for those [nations] were the inhabitants of the land, who were of old, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt. |
|1st Samuel Chapter 30 Verse 17-20||  And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, who rode upon camels and fled.
 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken; and David rescued his two wives.
 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor anything that they had taken to them: David brought back all.
 And David took all the flocks and the herds, [which] they drove before those [other] cattle, and said, This is David`s spoil.
